It's summer in TV land, which means several Dutch shows will not be broadcast for the next three months. Instead, we are provided with fantastic television such as Heel Holland Bakt ("All of Holland bakes", a rip-off of The Great British Bakeoff), in which several amateur cooks contend for the first prize in baking cakes.
The men in suits and aprons are Dutch politicians who made it to the news, either for proposing a policy that aroused a storm of protest, or for being involved in a scandal.
Title: All of Holland Bakes ...disasters ("er niks van bakken" is Dutch idiom for failing at something)
Text on cakes: prisons closing - social agreement - Bulgarian fraud - criminalize illegal immigrants
